1914 Savage 22 need part....

From the Sunshine State [8D],

I have a nice Savage 1914 model pump 22 that needed a rear sight (which I found), but it also needs the "plunger" to fit into the magazine tube and feed the ammo. An original would be best, but does anyone know another version that would work? I tried several old Winchesters to no avail.
