Older? 99 Savage rifle sling

I found a NOS Savage (embossed/woodburned)padded and lined rifle sling at a local show today. A $10.00 add on for my 99DL .308. It's NOS for sure. Vintage? info? I've never seen another like this one. Where they offered for the 99's? Perhaps shown in an older catalog.
