Can anyone tell me the year built of a German PP 380 by the serial #? It is an Interarms import. Thanks!

  the barrel will have a 'proof' mark with the year, i have #509xx mgf. in 73

  If this is in regard to it's Curio & Relic status? It wouldn't qualify. Interarms didn't start using their Trade Mark, on their imported guns until the 70's.
  
  When I was still doing the auctions, lot of folks would only buy guns if they qualified as a C & R. If it was a long gun I had no problems with that. Handguns that fired modern readily available ammo, had to go through a 01 FFL. Lost a lot of sales because of that.
