pt140 lock stuck
I have a Taurus PT140 millennium pro with a lock and key on the side of the slide. I just purchased this gun used and it came with the key. I went in to the back yard to my pistol range and shot it a few times all was good. I pulled out the key and locked it to test the lock. It worked you could not pull the triger or advance the slide. I then tryed to unlock it and it will turn the key but the safety will not come off. It is now stuck solid with a round in the chamber and no way to unlock it. I called Taurus and they said you are not to lock it with a round in the chamber.Ok my mistake, what now??? I can not send a gun to get repaired with a round in the chamber. Im sure the gunsmith would not be thrilled to have a live round in the chamber. Any ideas how I can get this gun unlocked???

Try visiting your local gunshop (you might want to call first, to let them know your problem), and ask to use a "new" key on your slide. 0
