Degreaser for Blueing & Electroplating?

What is best degreaser for occasional blueing or electroplating? I have used Birchwood Casey's. Also use 20 Mule Team Borax, boiling parts in it. Both seem OK but I keep looking for something better or easier to use. Any comments from your experience much appreciated.

Someone suggested the spray on brake cleaner that didn't work well for me. Thanks

  Brownells had a white soap looking stuff that worked very well for me for a lot of years, I'm sure they still have it. Dicro-clean ??????

  Pre clean grease, cosmolene, or well oiled parts with alcohol solvent (alcohol is water soluable & won't cause trouble with wetting in the soap solution).
  
  Try Cascade dishwasher detergent & very hot water. Scrub well with a nylon brush (stiff tooth brush works well for small parts).
  
  I use cotton glove liners with rubber gloves over them for protection from the hot parts as well as to keep finger prints off of cleaned parts.
  
  Be aware hot wet parts will start to rust quickly so leave the cleaning 'till the last minute.
