17 M2 1911 CONVERSION UNIT?

other then the discontinued kimber made ones , are there any quality 17m2 conversion units for the 1911 being made by anyone currently? and if so does anyone have personal experience with it? thanks Bob

  I really can't see any advantage of a 17 in a none long range target gun over a 22 Long Rifle rim fire. . IMHO unless you build a conversion that locks the barrel to the frame like a Day, Kart, or Marvel the other conversion units don't shoot group sizes at would benefit from the 17.
