1943 Tula factory PU sniper worth?

My first post; I think this is the right place for it. I just got married and I need to thin down my gun collection some. One of the guns I'm trying to get rid of is a 1943 Tula factory PU sniper with all matching serial numbers (777).

The bore and all the internals are 95-100%, although the stock and outside finish do have some wear...not bad for being through a war I guess.

It has all the correct markings that designate it as a Tula factory PU sniper (1943 date stamp, "cn" over the Tula factory star with fletched arrow in it), and it was drilled and tapped for a PU style scope mount. However, it was stripped down and imported as a standard M91/30. I've rebuilt it, but the scope is a replica, not the matching one it was originally issued with.

I'm just curious how much a rifle like this would be worth?

  can you post any pictures that would be a good start and some of the resident experts will respond. They are goooooooooooood at helping[8D]

  rebuilt ones sell often over on the auction in the $400 range ,ones that are still 100% original have gone up,one distributor still has a couple cases of originals and gets $800 ea for them,thats about all I can tell you with the information given

  There's some pics of it. So $400 is a fair estimate?

  I would have to really give it a close look to know for sure if its the real deal or not. I would agree that the $400 range is fair for a reproduction, but I've seen originals going for over $1200 at the gun shows recently. Mosin's alone have increased in price at the shows by close to 200% since january. Gone are the days of the $50 grab bag of Mosin's Makes me sad.
