help identify this model please

This pistol is supposed to have an interesting history. Although many have been purported to have belonged to so and so. I'm going to check it out.
There doesn't seem to be any markings other than the S&W stamp and serial numbers on frame and cylinder. No cal. no model #, nothing. bbl is 4" it looks like .32 maybe.
What do you think? Obliged

  The pistol is a Smith and Wesson "Perfected", it was made during the transition from breaktop to swing out cylinder. You must use the release catch before you attempt to use the break latch on top. The only one I have personally viewed was in S&W .38
  Neat different kinda of pistol I think.

  just got off the hook with Roy Jinks, extremely helpful and knowledgeable employee at Smith & Wesson. And he informs me you are correct CSI21. It is a .38 dbl action perfection model. circa 1911.
  Now for 50.00 and a letter with photo and description I can learn a little more.
