Rem-Choke Help??

I need some help with an issue regarding remington chokes. I have two stainless steel chokes. One has three dots and says Modified. The other has two dots and says Modified. What's the difference? Is one for lead and one for steel. Maybe one's Modified and the other is Improved Modified. I could sure use some help here as I can't find any info on the Remington website. Thanks

  Three marks usually means Imp Mod.
