lazer/light ?

i have the springfield XD40 and was wondering what people have put on their handguns as far as sights,etc. thanks for any info i'm thinking about a lazer sight for mine.

  I'd recommend a seperate light/laser completely independed of eachother. Maybe a Crimson trace grip module and a surefire x300 with pressurepad.
  
  I have an M6 on my glock, and am finding the biggest disadvantage is that when one goes dead, they both go dead.. Running both the laser and light together doesn't let the batteries live very long. I'm a ever growing fan of crimson trace. And depending on the holster you plan on carrying your gun in might kinda limit your light choices.
  
  Either way, I say having a light on your gun is foremost important. But once you get adjusted to shooting with a laser, you will really see its advantages. But don't skimp on some cheap chinese or japanese made airsoft grade junk laser or light. You'll regret it.
