any one know if a lars grizzly or de .5ae can be rechambered for the .45 colt

To shoot a 45 colt would need more then re-chamber The bore of a 45colt is .452 a 50 action express is .500 might be a little gas BLOW BY [}:)] You would have to re-barrel and make a new magazine . Sounds like a lot of work for no gain [:(] Semi autos don't normally come in a rimmed cartridge for a good reason magazines are hard to design to feed rimmed cartridges well.

Also rimmed cartidges headspace off the RIM, rimless off the case MOUTH.
