Any way to tighten the barrel assm to the receiver on these?

  how do you tell the difference in a 97 takedown model and a non takedown model. Thanks in advance , Len

  The first two pictures show a solid frame Model 1897...
  
  
  
  
  
  These next pictures show a Take Down Model 1897... note the extension ring attached to the front of the receiver frame, and the dual serial number stamp.
