Win Model 94 parts ?

I absolutely hate the factory sights.

Cant hit squat at 100 yards with the huge front post and sloppy rear sight.
No scopes.

Need a retrofit.

Got a source and suggestion?

    Check at Brownells...they have a huge selection of sights.

    Lyman Ivory bead front sight with either the Williams dovetail rear sight or the Williams receiver sight are popular in this area. A lever action 30-30 is still a favorite deer hunting rifle up here. Front sight can be had in your choice of two different size beads. Older guys seem to like the larger bead with a receiver shight for quick pickup of the deer in poor light conditions.

    Carbine or Rifle?

    What vintage is it?

    Is the upper tang is drilled and tapped for a tang sight? If so, I highly recommend installing a Lyman tang sight.

    It's the carbine. 20" barrel and I believe it's a 1971 manufacture date.

    There are 2 screws on the tang holding the stock to the reciever.

    I'll look at Williams, Brownells, and Lyman.

    That's what I need.

    I still like you cartod!

    I'm slowly loosing my eyesight due to diabetes and have been using a scoped rifle to compensate. The factory sights are too big at the post and no definition at the back.
    I also shoot an open-sighted AR with good, fine sights and do pretty good- maybe 3" at 100.

    My Win 30-30 shoots 12" at 100 and I'm too embarassed to bring it to the range anymore. I'll look for a smaller front post and a Marbles for the rear.

    Topkick, those dang marbles sights are getting harder to find and the prices are thru the roof. Do you want a tang rear sight or just the standard rear dovetail sight? What about a side mounted low power scope?

    Rather have the dovetail sight, rather a small ghost ring with a fine bead in front. I would snap off a tang, most likely.

    The low power side mount would work, but is butt ugly on a lever action.

    My buddy has retrofitted his Marlin 1894 to a ghost ring and new post, and I'm looking for a sililiar setup for the top eject Winchester.

    What's funny is that when I eject a case, it pops up and lands on the brim of my hat. Hope it don't roll down the back of my shirt!
