model 94 32ws saddle ring

My father inlaw just droped off his winchester model 94 32 ws saddle ring for me to sell. It is in about 85% to 90% condition. The bore is good and the wood is almost excellent. The receiver has one small spot that has some very, very light rust on it. So small that I had to look at it twice. I was wondering what it is worth???? It is the model 94 NOT the 1894. The action is smooth and crisp. I dont see any other marks on the gun at all. I cant find my blue book or I would look it up. I think I lent it to my friend but he said he gave it back. Anyway, I would appricate any and all info before I put it up on GB. Oak

    The value is going to depend on the exact vintage and the graded condition. For the first, I need to know what the serial number is.

    You state that it is a "Model 94" versus a Model 1894, which tells me that it was made no earlier than 1920. Winchester stopped installing a saddle ring as a standard item circa 1933, but a saddle ring could be special ordered up to the early 1950s.

    Somebody asked what the barrel length was, but I do not need that information (all standard SRCs were made with a 20-inch barrel). If the barrel is less than 20-inches though, it will have an affect on the value.

    Posting pictures is the best choice for us to evaluate the gun.

    iam retarded but I cant figure out how to post the picture. I will try again later. Anyway the serial # is 1019115. It also say winchester model 94 nickle steel- 32ws on barrel. Do you have to pay a site to post pictures. I am trying to get the picture from the "my pictures" on my computer.?????

    Oakie, Photobucket is a free web hosting service that I use. Very easy and I've never had a problem. You just need to register and then you are set to upload your photos and copy and paste the links here.

    Posting instructions are in the stickey at the top of the forum.

    UPDATE 1:

    Oakie, if you use Photobucket, once you are logged in and your photos are uploaded, mouse over the photo you want to post and a drop down menu will appear below the photo. It will display the following links:

    Email & IM
    Direct Link
    HTML Code
    IMG Code

    To the right of each of those link types there will be a box with that link. Mouse over the box for IMG Code, click it to highlight the link, then right click on the highlighted link and from the resulting drop down menu select copy. The copied link will have a link that is already set up with the IMG brackets for posting on the forum. You just need to paste that link in your post, insert a carriage return to stack the photos, and then repeat the process until you've posted all of the photos you need to post.

    OK. I cant get pass the select icon at the right of url line becacause I cant find it.My wife and I both cant find it. Does it even exsist?????????????
