Benelli Super 90 Receiver Wear
I have a Benelli Super 90 that has a loose trigger housing pin. I measured the pin at .175" and the hole is from .176" to .178". I would assume that the pin being steel and the receiver being aluminum that the holes in the receiver are worn. The pin falls out during normal use. If I use a bigger pin I will have to ream out the hole in the trigger assembly bushing. Is there another fix besides a new receiver?

The hole being 1/1000th or 2/1000th larger I think is normal for the pin to be able to be removed.
Those 2 grooves in the pin are for the pin to lock into place when assembled in the gun. The pin is not held by friction with the hole in the receiver, it is held in place by a clip on the left side of the shell carrier pivot bushing that the pin goes thru. Check to see if the clip is missing.0 -
