browning hi power 9mm worth?

co worker offered me this gun as he was hard up for $. 1988 manufacture i found out, belgium made, assembled in portugal. nickle finish on the lower frame and hammer, blued slide and muzzle. walnut grips, fixed rear sight, immaculate condition, fired rarely it looks. i've seen all blued and all nickle finish BHPs but have not seen 1 with the combo. any idea about approximate worth. BTW i paid him $300 and no reach around was necessary.

    Check the DOM on the Hi-Power that you bought (stole). The Hi-Power Practical Models were imported from 1990 to 2000 and reintroduced 2002-2006.

    I drove a hard bargain i guess bwahahahahahahahah. unless i looked wrong on brownings website, serial # is 245pf 73,xxx. another thing, the upper is matte, not blued[gloss]. i knew i got a deal @ $300, but had a deputy buddy run the #s just to make sure it wasn't hot. maybe i ought to knibble his earlob or something just to square up a little?

    The all blues were selling for aprox. $400 in 1988.

    You done very good. In that kind of condition they should fetch 500-600.00 easily.

    If you ever plan on traveling to these parts, let me know a little before hand. I want to get a set of Kevlar bottoms made.....[:0][:0][:0]

    Browning does not use the letter "f" in its two letter date codes. 1988 would be PP
