D.O.M. winchester model 70

I picked up a Win. model 70 270 carbine and I can not find a date of manufacture for it. ser.# G1758xxx.
Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.

  I have a G15xxxx that I have dated 1983. So I would guess 84-85.

  I found a site for winchesters but the serial #'s stop at 153000.
