Model 70 Pre 64 Ad ?
This ad does not seem right? Natural finish does not sound correct and I am not sure what "pressure marks" indicate.

Winchester Model 70 Pre War .270 Win Mfg. 1948, 24" barrel with front sight, no rear sight, barrel has plenty of blue wear to the white, the only bad part on the metal is that it has a touch of peppering behind where rear sight would go, Redfield base and rings, Weaver K4 60-B scope, scope has shiny spots from the leather lens covers along with rub marks, scratches and a little pitting on the bottom but the optics are excellent, 13" length of pull, _" Whiteline recoil pad, sling studs and rings, and comes with leather sling, bottom of stock also has a forward hole for adjusting the sling stud back, hinged drop-down floor plate, checkered forearm that has turned all but smooth, checkered pistol grip, stock has a natural finish, never varnished, it has pressure marks a couple of dings and some scratches, but this gun is in excellent original condition for its age, excellent bore, Weight 9 lbs. 5 oz. No box or papers. Ser#93633.

Natural finish was lacquer and wax. Sounds like it is missing parts, quite worn, and wrong sling swivels as studs were never used. The rubber butt pad is incorrect also. At best it is a shooter and probably not worth more than %500. Not a collectable.

If it was manufactured in 1948 it's not pre war. As paul said, it's a shooter.
