Belgian Double Barrel

Hoping to find out some history on this gun which was recently handed down to me. It is a double barrel side by side, with the words SPECIAL POUR POUDRES SANS FUMEE. I have done some research to find that part of this means smokeless powder. The gun has a lot of hand engraving all over. There are proof marks indicating belgian, choke, etc. Lyon over P.V, Crown over circle containing E L G and a star under, inspector marks(?) including a star over P, a star over W, and a star over X, The letters E and L entwined, a perron, diamond square with 12 and a C under, the letters and numbers sequence of P 1 K 376.7, choke numbers 17.3 over 18.3. Also stamped in the barrel is HM in an oval, (or WH if looking at it at another angle. Gorgeous gun with what looks to be burl walnut. I can send pictures also. Any one know the maker? Help is appreciated.

    Not sure if this helps or not, the following is from an encyclopedia of gun marks. I was unable to find some of them and nothing that would point to a maker.

    The crown over ELG in a circle is a Belgian proof mark used after 1893.
    I suspect the star over the P, W, and X are various Belgian Inspectors since the inspectors typically used a star over their assigned initial.
    The Lion over PV is a Belgian Proof used on rifled barrels after 1924. Not sure why this would be on a shotgun.
    The letters E and L entwined (if they are script)is a Belgian provisional black powder proof, used since 1952 according to my reference.
