  Browning was the very first one, and they introduced it in 1988. They had their first generation A-Bolt available for the first time in 270 Winchester, and 30-06. I have one of the very first ones off the production line, and it was my late father's. He purchased it from me, and was my very first customer when I first got my FFL. It wears a Leupold VXIII in 2.5-8x.
  
  As previously posted there are a slew of others, but Remington was the next to follow, then Savage, and Winchester.
