I know I am probably being a pain but no one locally I trust to give me truthful info. Here are the first four different stocks I have to sell for a guy and again have no idea what they are.

Top: M1903 Sprg.

Middle: whointhehellknows

Bottom: K98 Mauser (rear sling cutout appears "off" to me, though)

No. 2 sure looks to me like a Springfield 1903 stock with full pistol grip and some reshaping possibly in that area. Also note the magazine cut-off indent on the left side. The buttplate is identical to one I have. I agree on No. 1 and No. 4, and couldn't say on No. 3.

No2 is a Spanish 1893 Mauser carbine stock (1916 version)

No4 is a hacked up WW 2 Mauser 98k stock

Do you mean #2 or #3 for the spanish 1893? I am not doubdting you but
there is 3 pics of each stock and it looks confusing, looks like there are only 3.
If the complete stock is for a 93 spanish what should I expect to get out of it.

...#3 looks like it is either a 1891 or 1909 Argentine Calvary/Engineer Carbine...if it is as short as it looks.

...Look for two "rub" lines inside the forend, as the handgaurds on the 1891's were held on by a piece of wire that looped inside the bottom and up & over the top handgaurd which was groved to accept the two wires; and the two wires would sometimes leave marks, not always though. I am not around mine to see/check which model exactly...[;)]
