12 Gauge Shotgun
I have an older model 12 gauge shotgun single shot breakdown that has the manufactureer and model number filed off. The only thing that is left on the barrel is the site of production which is Harrisburg, PA. Can anyone provide any info as to who the manufacturer might have been? For that matter, I would appreciate any info that you might have. THANX!

Make sure hte serial number isn't filed off too! Assuming it had one of course... big problem.
If it was made pre-1968, then a serial wasn't required by law, but if it had one, removing it is a felony.0 -

OK, seriously, iwannasuername is spot on here. If the gun HAD a serial number, but doesn't anymore, that's a BIG no-no.

I have no idea if it had a serial number or not. I can find any trace of one, and I suspect that from what I do know about the gu, it was made prior to 1968 and did not have one. I cannot state taht afor sure however, and that is the reason I trying to locate information about the gun. I have been unable to find a manufacturer which was located in Harrisburg, PA and that is one of the reason I think iot is older than 1968. Does anyone know of a manufacturer of shotguns which was at one time located in Harrisburg? THANX! 0
