Win. High Wall ?

I wonder if any can tell me what year is #77348 winchester high wall. Also a winchester low wall #66850. They both have british proof marks. Thanks litetrigger

    Hello,

    Your low-wall (66850) was manufactured in May/June of 1894, and your high-wall (77348) was manufactured in January/February of 1897. If you are interested, I can give you a full evaluation of them with a bit more information from you.

    Thanks Bert, the high wall is a 32-40 30" oct. bbl. #3. the low wall is a 22 wcf 26" round bbl. #1. Both have vivid case colors, shotgun butt, tang sights, express rear sights and small hood flip down front sights. 90% blue. I don't know how to attatch pics, but I could email them. I bought them in 1963 from an army officer who brought them back from England. Thanks Litetrigger

    They sound like very nice rifles, and they are configured like 95% of all the other British proofed Model 1885s that I have seen and own. Please send the pictures to me at Win1885@msn.com
