Question for uzi full auto minds
I purchased a B&g nfa firearm (uzi) recently. The gun is a norinco host with the converted bolt done by b& g, the gun is jamming sometimes, it looks like it is trying to feed the active round and drags the next round forward into the mag. It put a good sized dent in the mag on that shot, and I had a hard time getting the mag out of the gun. Now when I fire the gun it fires a few rounds, then james with the bullet chambered, the next is side ways against the bolt. I am useing wolf ammo, with new imi mags every try( I have many) If anyone can give me ideas!![:(!]

Also the gun sometimes fires great. It will happen in full auto and semi fire. 0 -
To me it sounds like it may be a mag problem. It could be the ammo too.
What did the previous owner say it ran with?
I hate to send you off here but I would check, http://www.uzitalk.com/

Sounds like a mag problem, but I wonder if the wolf ammo is hot enough to cycle it properly?0 -
uzis like hot ammo 0 -
Oil it up real good so it runs free. Wolf ammo should be hot enough to cycle. Try a different ammo. Your mag spring may be weak causing the gun to drag off more than one round. Try another mag. I would also try running it semi ..fast. 0 -
I was thinking the opposite. Perhaps the mag spring is so strong that the rim of the chambering round wedges into the following round's extractor cut, carrying it forward with a lot of force.
Will this happen with a half filled mag?0 -
I have an old Bushmaster machine pistol made by Gwinn Arms. It's not full auto, but would sometimes jam when firing really fast. I got some Mil-Spec oil and used it on a couple of drag points and it hasn't jammed once since this. 0
