Egyptian 308 corrosive?? Berdan?
This is mine on the auction side. I was told non corrosive. Can anybody verify it Also any know primer type

I believe this ammo is actually Syrian mfg, not Egyptian. It is very likely corrosive. I have some of this I bought back maybe 15 years ago. It is over size in that it will not chamber in a bolt action .308 gun, I usually will in a semi-auto gun. This was sold for a short time by Century Arms. I pulled the bullets and used the powder in regular Nato cases. I kept the brass just in case I decided to use it sometime. It can be resized and used if one wants to go to that trouble. 0 -
This shoots and chambers fine in my garand and my ruger 77 bolt action and also my Rem 700 but I would agree it is probably a little oversize as the bolt closes harder than normal. I only tested it in the bolt guns figured they were much stronger and didn't want to risk a garand 0 -
