223 brass

I am new to reloading and have a tech. question. On some of my 223 cal brass in the primer pocket there seems to be an extra ring inside the pocket, any help?

  Military brass has a primer crimp. There are several tools available to cut, or swage, this crimp out. Done it many thousands of times. Welcome to the forums, and reloading.

  I have a Dillon primer pocket swager that I have used on thousands of pieces of brass, works pretty good.
  
  I have found that using a Dremel oval shaped grinder in an electric drill is much faster. Just touch the pocket and its done.
