cai on the side of my ruger sp100 .357 what does it mean..is it special in any way...

Occasionally seen on U.S. made commercial firearms that originally were sold overseas, then brought back to the States.

Not attempting a hi-jack but do you mean a Ruger GP-100 or a Ruger SP-101? I'm not familiar with a SP-100.

they brought some back into the USA a few years back from so they had to stamp the importer name (CAI) century arms international..the sold wholesale for about 240.00
