Remington 03-A3

I have an ancient Remington 03-A3 that has been passed down in my family from at least my great grandfather. It's in good shape with some scratches and dents in the stock and some scratches in the metal. It has what appears to be the original sling as well as the original cleaning kit in the butt. Does anyone have any idea what this thing is worth? The area forward of the bolt is stamped "U.S. Remington Model 03-A3 3968356" There is a stamp on the stock "C-SAA". The barrel is stamped "RA (with a fire bomb) 6-43". There is also a "P" in a circle and a "P" in a square stamped on the stock.

    I acquired a Remington 03-A3 and can't get the bolt handle to lock down once the bolt is closed. It seems to be lined up but is hitting something. I need an expert. Also how do you remove the bolt out of one of these? Thanks

    "IIRC I'm pretty sure you just pull the trigger with the bolt in the rearward position."...........nope, with the bolt closed you put the 'switch' on the left side of the receiver in the 'neutral' position (between on and off), then open the bolt and withdraw to the rear. it will come right out.

    Make sure you rotate the extractor to the right side of the rifle.
