muzzle breaks
I am considering purchasing a Lazzeroni-Savage Patriot. I asked my gunsmith about muzzle breaks and he recommended a KDF muzzle break. My questions are: Are all muzzle breaks reasonably similar? and How much will the KDF reduce felt recoil?

i have a muzzle break from a H&K g3/91 that i sold a while ago.(was junk built from a parts kit) would that fit onto my SA m1a or is the flash suppressor pinned on? the muzzle breake would make for a faster 2nd shot right? 0 -
I know it'll make for a damn loud rifle, but I don't know if it'll fit. 0 -
Thread pitch and mounts are different between the two guns. 0 -
It may make for a more rapid follow up shot but a muzzle brake may break your eardrums if you don't have good ear protection with ear plugs underneath.
Your neighbor at the range wont like you.
It's too late for my hearing but it mightn't be for yours.
The German gun will have metric threads while US guns are in inch dimensions.
Once you have the flash hider off, a gunsmith or machinist could copy the mounting features
and add a threaded bushing if necessary to the HK to adapt it to the MiA.0
