s&w 49 + P ammo

Are there any known problems from shooting +p in these revolvers? Should I not do it? I don't know how old the gun is, the serial # is 901J8.

  You shouldn't have any problems other than recoil and a sore wrist

  I was just curious, I've got some +P lying around and thought I would use it if it wouldn't hurt the gun. I know it's all steel, but I read a reveiw where a fellow shot some +P in a 49 and it buldge the chambers in the cylinder. Does anybody know how old the gun is?
