replacement grips

I have an H&R defender 38, top break, with a birdshead grip frame. the gun is in 95% condition with the exception of missing grips. I have looked everywhere for grips that will fit this gun, but all the cross references i find are for square butted revolvers. Does anybody know where i can find grips for this pistol?

  I live in Oceanside, California and my wife has an Italian made 22LR derringer and the grips wandered off into the sunset many moons ago. Can anyone advise me the best route to go, or a reliable source for obtaining replacement grips? I am doing this at work and do not have a more complete description of the derringer, but I think the only other thing stamped on it is the serial number.
