Weatherby Mark V date of manufacture.

Just bought a Weatherby Mark V in 257 mag with serial number H133123. Can anybody tell me what year this rifle was made? Went to Weatherby's website but from what I can tell they want $50.00 to tell me.

    If it's one of the early German ones? It might have the German proof marks, that have a coded date.

    I think it is a Mark V Deluxe.

    www.weatherbycollectors.com is there anything more weatherby will tell you besides date of mfg. if so it may just be worth it with that gun 1974' to 1984'
