Taurus M66 357 Convert to 9mm?

    There is no conversion cylinder available. One could most likely be made by machining a spare to allow for star/moon clips, but it would not be cost effective.

    I would just use 38 Special +p to get close to 9mm performance

    The 9mm can't be easily converted from a 38/357 w/o starting with either a smaller caliber or blank cylinder. I don't think Taurus .32 caliber cylinders will fit the 66 so that is out. I supppose a 38 cylinder might be bored and sleeved to 9mm but that is a very expensive operation. It would cost more than finding a factory 9mm and paying whatever the owner asked for it.

    It MIGHT be possible to do the conversion, but it wouldn't be cheap (eg roughly $250), you'd have to fire the 9mms using moon clips, and the gun wouldn't be practical to fire .38/.357s afterwards.
