Model 12 barrel

I have a model 12, 12 gauge with a 28" modified barrel. Some time back it got something on the barrel that caused severe corrosion in several spots. Almost looks like battery acid spattered on the barrel. I have cleaned the corrosion off of the barrel and it is pitted fairly deep into the metal and I don't want to shoot it in this condition. The metal on the end of the barrel is very thin anyway.
Does anyone know where I can find a barrel for this gun or have one made. It is a plain barrel, no rib. but one hell of a quail gun. I have owned this gun since 1965 and it is a keeper.

  I am interested in getting a 28" modified barrel like the one that is on the gun now. A 30" full choke will not do, balance would be way off. Is it possible to have one made, or can this one be repaired?

  Hello Gradyc . My suggestion is to keep a look at all the auction sites and also gun shows for a barrel to your lik-ing. Cartod was showing that at any given time there are barrels available you might need to wait a day a week or even a few Months but more then likely you can find the barrel you want.
