    Stevens model 520, a Browning design at that.

    Speculation only:
    They made a lot of these for hardware stores under assorted brand names. Yours without any name and mismatched numbers indicates a parts gun; perhaps made up by putting a longer barrel on a surplus trench or riot gun and then buffing it hard.

    520's were made over a 35 year period, as late as Trench Guns for the U.S. military in the 40's.

    Even in excellent condition the standard versions, ( not the Trench Guns ) aren't big buck items. There is just no collector demand/value for them.

    I agree with Rufe...there were so many made that collector interest is limited to the militarily marked shotguns. Good shooters, just not very rare.
