OK, so I need to know about a bayonet i purchased a while ago, for like 17 dollars, and I just need to know about it..... Things like, where it's from, it's value, and possibly a date or era when it was made or used. A few things the photo's don't show is that on one side of the blade it has only legible letters "TER" that are in an oval (possibly a logo, or manufacturer's mark?), and on the other side it has an "ML" in a oval.... It also has a serial number "GH 647" any help would be appreciated, i did a little bit of research, and could it possibly be made by Terni? I think that is how you spell it...

Pics not working so well. Terni would be one of the Italian arsenals, and the "ter..." in an oval is likely thier mark. Don't know anything about Italian bayonets, except they had a penchant after the first world war to design attached bayonet carbines, so this long predates WWII. 0 -
i know the pictures suck, i only have a cheap iPod camera. 0 -
Looks like a Model 1891 bayonet used on the 6.5mm Model 1891 Mannlicher Carcano. 0
