T Parker double barrel shotgun
I'm looking for parts for my dad's T Parker double barrel shotgun - any recommendations as to where I can find these?

It is unfortunately not very likely that you will find parts for a 100+ year-old Belgian double barrel shotgun. Additionally, the gun is not worth the time & expense to repair, nor is it safe to shoot with any modern loaded shells. 0 -
A T. Parker shotgun is probably of Belgian make, imported here to be sold to gullible Colonials who would mistake it for an American made Parker Brothers or a British Thomas Parker.
Parts are going to be scarce, the only source a scrapped gun of the same model. I wonder if it is worth fixing; it might do better hung on the wall as a decorator.0 -
Thanks for the responses - I think he was just wanting to fix it up for something to do - not for the value of the gun...I wish there were places to get the parts. Thanks! 0 -
Take a look at that name one more time. If it's T. PARKER then yes, it's a Belgian "Trade Brand Name" import most probably made by Henri Pieper, a large Belgian maker. Also if it's Belgian, it will have Belgian proof marks on the bottom of the barrels consisting of the letters "ELG" in an oval with a crown over that.If the name is T PARKER NEW YORK then it's still a "Trade Brand Name" shotgun but made by Crescent Fire Arms Company of Norwich, CT (1892 to 1931). Depending on what parts you need it may be possible to find them. You can surf the gun and parts auction sites here on Gun Broker. or you can contact Dixie Gun Works. They offer some common parts like hammers, triggers and so forth. 0 -
