Silicone socks
Just wanted some feedback on using silicone socks for long term storage of a collection. It is also in a dehumidified safe. Thank you.

Since they are relatively new long term may be a stretch. They do seem to work well. The silicone give shock & moisture protection 0 -
I have them on a few of my long guns. I like the fact that they protect the guns as you move them in, out and around in the safe. I plan to pick up a couple of the hand gun socks and give them a try. 0 -
I've been using them since the 80's without complaint. Would not store a gun without one. 0 -
ditto what Danceswithsheep said. I also use them in the foam-lined rifle case when traveling to keep the foam off the blued metal. I use Bore Stores. 0
