TC PRO HUNTER/ENCORE
Will the Encore barrels fit the Pro Hunter frame ? Or do you have to buy Pro Hunter barrels also ?

Plain old Encore centerfire barrels will fit the Encore Prohunter frame, no need to buy Prohunter barrels. The Bergara barrels (which generally cost about $100.00 less) and will fit also. 0 -
Being told to put a regular Encore barrel on you need a different forearm ..Is that correct ? 0 -

Not sure, I have about a dozen of the darn things and never really remember what forend works with which barrel - I just grab and check. I'm inclined to say the screw holes are spaced the same and so long as your barrel contour matches up you're fine. I do recall trying to put a standar forearm on an Encore bull barrel and although the screws were fine the barrel channel on the forearm was too thin. Not 100% sure, but I think a bull barrel Encore forarm will work on the Prohunter. - maybe wait for another poster to vote.0 -
the encore barrels will fit the prohunter. however i just returned a bergara barrel because the 2 srews that go into the bottom of the barrel were of different size. they were bigger than the existing tc encore screws. 0
