They may make you one for a snub barrel they make some in house very good people to work with. They do have L frame for snub nose available which might fit

The Model 10 is a standard "K" frame S & W. It has been made continuously for over 100 years, in many different calibers and versions, including stainless models since the 70's. Because of this the holster makers don't specifically note that their holsters are for the Model 10, just the "K" frame revolvers. As long as the holster is sold for the "K" frame, and the barrel length is the same, it will fit your Model 10.

Smith model 10 is built on the medium "K" frame.

Ruger SP101 is on a small frame, and the two are not interchangeable in terms of holster size. The K frame gun won't fit into a small snubnose holster.

No loss though. In my opinion, a K-frame Smith revolver is too large for ankle carry anyway. Most people aren't physically big enough to get away with carrying a gun that large on their ankle, and those that are, probably wouldn't want to.

Fortunately, ordinary belt holsters for snubnose K frame revolvers aren't terribly hard to find.

For example, Bianchi has a nice in-waistband suede one, among others. The part number is Bianchi 10376 for the right handed version, and retail cost is about $20 for a new one. EG:

Interestingly, I used to carry a smaller J-frame snubnose in the larger K-frame holster. The larger holster meant the gun sat lower with the cylinder under my beltline for better retention, and the soft sueded leather eventually broke in to a perfect molded fit of the smaller gun.

is the mod 10 larger or are they about the same size,

reason is i found a holster for a sp101 but not sure id the mod will fit is, glaco has no listing for mod 10 so i cant compare numberer's.

so does anyone have 1 of each of each or know

Ross Leather makes a holster for the SP101. Mine is without a hammer spur and the Ross holds via the trigger guard. Nice quality, good price. Not of the super concealeable type, but pretty good. As in "windbreaker - OK" but "Italian suit - nope".
