I got a ohio rapid fire 1919 that works ok if you hold the belt up but it wont feed or pull the belt from the can. Does anyone have an idea what is wrong?

  I have 2 1919's and have not had that problem. I suspect you may have a worn or loose feeding pawl. If you go to 1919A4.com you might get a more specific answer.
