Colt King Cobra Blue 2.5 inch
I just purchased a beautiful Colt King Cobra Blued 2.5 inch like new in the box with paperwork. It has a KK prefix. I havent ever saw another one.[:0] I was wondering if anyone knew about how many were made? And also about what one is valued at? (Real life not Blue Book). I have saw several stainless 2.5's and two Combat Cobra's. I know about what they bring.[:p] Any info at all about it will be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

The value of common guns can usually be found by doing an Advanced Search on Gunbroker completed auctions. But, you are correct, the 2.5" barrel version is not often seen & is quite collectible. I would expect yours to sell in the $800-1,000 range.
Personally, I prefer the longer barrel for a .357, as much of the powder blows (unburned) out of the muzzle when you have a short barrel.

Thanks Neal for the reply, thats exactly what I paid for it. I figured it would be worth a little more than that, maybe I didn't get as great of a deal as I thought.[xx(]Anyway I am still happy, I have found that any super scarce snake guns LNIB are a pheonominal investment. I was figuring it would be somewhere between the stainless 2.5 and the Combat Cobra as far as value goes, which I figured would be 1200 to 1500. I may try to put a set of them together, but that Combat Cobra is getting insane prices. And I won't have anything in my personal collection unless it is at least LNIB. I know it is crazy, but thats the way alot of people around here are.[:o)] Thanks again for the reply and if anybody else wants to put there 2 cents in I would appreciate it also,[:D] Thanks. 0 -
Anybody have any more info on the King Cobra Blued 2.5? Like how many were made or how many total King Cobras were made? Thanks 0
