The value of common guns can usually be found by doing an Advanced Search on Gunbroker completed auctions. But, you are correct, the 2.5" barrel version is not often seen & is quite collectible. I would expect yours to sell in the $800-1,000 range.

Personally, I prefer the longer barrel for a .357, as much of the powder blows (unburned) out of the muzzle when you have a short barrel.

Thanks Neal for the reply, thats exactly what I paid for it. I figured it would be worth a little more than that, maybe I didn't get as great of a deal as I thought.[xx(]Anyway I am still happy, I have found that any super scarce snake guns LNIB are a pheonominal investment. I was figuring it would be somewhere between the stainless 2.5 and the Combat Cobra as far as value goes, which I figured would be 1200 to 1500. I may try to put a set of them together, but that Combat Cobra is getting insane prices. And I won't have anything in my personal collection unless it is at least LNIB. I know it is crazy, but thats the way alot of people around here are.[:o)] Thanks again for the reply and if anybody else wants to put there 2 cents in I would appreciate it also,[:D] Thanks.
