Can I heat and bend a Beretta grip?
I have an Beretta Model 90 (not the 90-Two, but the older 32acp Model 90).
The grips, particularly the right-side panel (which retains the trigger bar), has a fairly substantial warp to it causing it to be pulled away from the frame.
Finding replacement grips is pretty much impossible.
I'm fairly confident the grip was formed through heat-molding; I'm thinking I should be able to (carefully) heat it and bend it straight.
I'm thinking I may experiment with a current model grip panel before attempting the work on the 90's panel, but would be interested in any input anyone can give: Is it a heat-moldable plastic? what temperature is it likely to become pliable at? Can I cool it rapidly (like dunking it in water) once I have it heated and flexed to the position I want?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Never tried any Beretta Grips but the 1950 vintage Colt 1911 grips if removed used to Shrink I have taken rubber groves and let the grips set in a pan of boiling water on a stove top and then been able to stretch the grips back in to shape. some times I had to add salt to slightly raise the temp. until the grips got soft enough. . get a flat surface to hold the grips against and then run under COLD water until they harden 0
