ar handle scope mount

i saw an ad the other day but i dont remember where it was for an ar handle scope mount this mount had a tapered body to match the angle of the handle has anyone used this type of mount it sounds like a good idea it would keep the mount level what do you think of this mount im trying to find it so i can mount it on a bushmaster 5.56 rifle i just purchased thanks hank k

    You need to be more specific there's probably 25 different mounts that could fit your description.

    that is not a picture of the mount im looking for it fits directly on the handle of an ar its locked into position by a thumbnut but the unique thing is the rear of the mount is lower than the front othe mount the front part duplicates the angle of the handle so the scope is level with the barrel im sure it was offered on gun broker but i think the auction expired before i could order it hank k

    Yes those mounts that you asked about work. They are available from most anywhere that sells AR parts. Brownells, Midway, Cabelas etc.

    another one to look at is the leupold 52136. $26 at optics planet. hope this helps you.

    I have one similar to the one pictured above except the rail on mine is above the circled part and the crossed out section is not there on mine. It works great because if the battery dies on my optic, I can lower my head slightly and still use the iron sights of the carry handle.
