ruger 10 22

HI,

I have purchased a rugher 10-22 and had it modified to 17 mach 2, new barrel, springs etc in receiver.

I am hearing that the 17hmr is not working in 10-22s, has anyone heard anything about using 17 mach 2s if the rifle is correctlly modified? thanks

  I now hear that the 17HMR is not to be used with the 10-22 mag, but can the 17 mach 2 be used with the 10-22 22lr receiver with the changes made above? thanks

  Sticking my neck out here without looking it up, but I think the 17hmr and the 17 mach are two different things. Internet search may clear that up. There has been a recall on the Remington rifle for 17 hmr.

  10/22 magnums and a lot of time getting it to shot right too may varables. If you ask me its more trouble than it worth. Call Ruger and tell them to get off their duff and build you one.
