Broken Sears Model 2200 Rifle
My Father-in-Law just broke the plastic cocking lever on his Sears Model 2200 rifle. Given this rifle is almost 30 years old, what are the chances of finding a new part? The rifle serial number is D561256. I think the Sears part number is 101548880 (Made by Stevens). The rifle was made in the USA. Doe anyone know where I can find the part I need? Thank you.

Go to what is called the "Crossover List" on the Gun Parts Corp. web-site. See if you can find the specific Stevens model rifle that is the same as the Sears Model 2200. If you can do this, see if they have the part available for sale. 0 -
Do you have one extra '8' in the part number? If so, Blue Book of Gun Values crossover guide indicates this would be a Stevens Model 80, Series A OR Springfield Model 187, Series A. 0 -
Thanks to everyone for the advise! I used the crossover reference and ordered a new cocking lever from Numrich Gun Parts Corp. Indeed, the rifle crosses as a Springfield Model 187, Series A or Stevens Model 80, Series A. : ) 0
