The WaAD 20 marking on the holster is probably for the specific resident inspector who approved the holsters for the krauts.

I picked up a Mauser HSc and the serial #826937. Also has on left trigger gaurd a small eagle over 135 , eagle over N on right trigger gaurd.
Also the holster has a medium size eagle standing on the Nazi emblem and under it is stamped WaAD20

I have found some info on the proof marking for the gun but what is the stamping on the holster mean ?

Do these guns hold any value it seems they are priced all over the place from what I have seen so far ?

FLHMAN73..........as rufe has told you, we need good photos to be able to tell you exactly what you have and to help pinpoint value. Same with the holster. I suggest that you go over it carefully with a glass to look for a maker mark (three letter code). As you have been told, the WaAD20 is the Waffen acceptance stamp. From your serial number I place it probably in the Variation 4 category of five variations. About 75k HSc's were purchased for the German military during the war and you evidently have one of those guns. The HSc was a streamlined double action pistol that was very popular both with the police and the military. Astra even made a copy of it after the war for the civilian market and sold lots in the US. Do they hold any value? They certainly do and they are great little shooters. Can tell you more what you have with those photos. Hope this helps[^]
