32 s&w The american double action
Hi, I have a relative who has a old pistol. I saw almost the exact same piece on this sight with a few differences. I am looking to find a value on this. There is not a single marking on this except the words The american double action on the very top, NOTHING else. it is a 6 shot with a full hammer. [

Brian,
Value can be anywhere from $25 to over $200 depending upon model/variation and condition of finish and mechanicals. If there is no caliber/cartridge marking on left side of barrel it is pre 1905; if there is no manufacturer's addres on left side of barrel it is pre 1895 or so. Besides condition estimate, need these questions answered - if it is nickel plated, is the trigger guard nickeled or blued? Is the hammer screw (on left side of frame) flat headed and flush with the frame? Check the serial number found under the left grip on the bottom strut of the grip frame. What is it?0
