Browning Acera 300 win mag. whats it worth?
hey guys. I have a new unfired Browning Acera straight action. 300 win mag. really nice looking gun, walnut stock. new condition. I have not decided if I want to sell this or not. I do really like the way it feels and am considering using it deer hunting. I have plenty of BARs though so I really havent brought myself to mounting a scope on it and shooting it.
how much are these guns worth? I cant get answers from anyone as they are unheard of by a lot of people. I think these will be worth some money someday as there wasnt many made.
only reason I want to sell or trade it is I have my eye on another gun and due to current money sittuation I cant get anything without selling something... I fell in love with the Volquartsen guns. I want a Volquartsen 17hmr and a volquartsen evolution 223 really bad. Not sure which I would get first, but would like to find one that I could trade the acera towards. Problem is I cant find any shops that have these used. I may just have to wait until I have money and order one from Volquartsen.

mklinger,
Welcome to the Gunbroker forums!
I have seen these offered for as much as $1100.00/each. On the other hand, I've seen these sell for as low as $600.00/each in a range up to $750.00/each.
As to that slippery term 'rare' or 'limited', use your best judgement. Oddball firearms often can command substantial prices. But it may not be true of every such example. Most of these are a roll of the dice as to any increase in value. The short production of one year usually points to a marketing/design mistake on the part of the manufacturer.
