Harpers Ferry sidelock help wanted
I have a flintlock sideplate dated 1807. Can anyone suggest a site I can visit that will have good clear pictures so that I might compare?
It is in very good condition. Maybe in too good condition but I would like some photos to compare before I get too worked up. Even if origional, I know that they are not all that rare or expensive. I would just like to know if I have the real deal.
Thanks, Tom
PS: yes I know, but I don't know how to post pictures. T

Your best bet to see photos of Harpers Ferry pieces is probably to visit dealer's websites. Some have great illustrations and you may find what you want. You might start with a google or Bing search for 'antique arms dealers'. Then do a search for harpers ferry. 0
